Srirachas Ranked for sugar. In this post, I am going to be sharing with you 10 different sriracha brands ranked based on sugar content. Sriracha is a phenomenon. It is so popular; it even has its own documentary. Sriracha differs from a lot of other styles of hot sauce because of its thicker texture and strong layered flavor profile. Traditionally this sriracha is made from a chili pepper paste which is then mixed with vinegar, garlic, sugar, and salt. Yes, sriracha is a “hot sauce” but its distinctive style often makes this style of hot sauce stand out. However, if you are watching your sugar intake what are some lower-sugar sriracha sauces available online and from grocery stores?

How much sugar is there in Sriracha?

As a general rule, most srirachas contain 1g or less of total sugar per 5g serving. Most srirachas are sweetened with sugar. However, there are a few sugar-free Srirachas such as:

  • Sunturi Sriracha (sweetened with stevia and erythritol); and
  • True Made Foods Vegetable Sriracha (added sugar-free).
