In this post, I am going to share all the lowest sugar drinks options at Dutch Bros. That’s right – Dutch Bros. That chain of Dutch-inspired coffee huts that make extremely “Insta” and “Tik-Tok” worthy drinks. In the post, I will go through the highest sugar drinks at Dutch Bros, the lowest sugar drinks, and whether there are any sugar-free options available from Dutch Bros.
First, and most importantly, what sugar-free and zero-sugar drinks does Dutch Bros offers?
What are the Zero-Sugar and Low Sugar Drinks Available from Dutch Bros?
As a general rule, the Americano, the teas, and the cold brew coffees are the lowest sugar drinks at Dutch Bros. The sugar content of the teas and cold brews can be reduced further by asking for sugar-free syrup. Sugar-free versions of Dutch Bros Classic drinks can be ordered using sugar-free syrups, as well as sugar-free custom drinks.
What are the Lowest Sugar Drinks at Dutch Bros?

Apart from the three drinks on this list that contain 0g of sugar, the remaining drinks on this list range from 19g-29g of sugar (if ordered “as is” – the sugar content of a lot of these drinks can be reduced by ordering with sugar-free syrup as well as other substitutions).
I realize this seems quite high for the lowest sugar list (and to be honest that is high for a drink). But everything is relative. Before we dig into the list let’s go through some of the most popular drinks categories at Dutch Bros.

The Lowest Sugar Drinks at Dutch Bros
Now I have run through some of the highest sugar drinks at Dutch Bros let’s dig into the lowest sugar options. Hopefully the above puts into context the below list.
1. Americano
The Americano, along with the unflavored cold brews, contains the least amount of sugar – at 0g of sugar. Perfect for if you are visiting Dutch Bros and want a caffeinated unflavored low sugar boost.
2. Oat Milk Cocomo
The Oat Milk Cocomo is a new menu item at Dutch Bros. It is essentially a coconut mocha made with oat milk. Oat milk is one of my favorite kinds of milk to use in coffee so this drink sounds right up my street.
The sugar content ranges from 24g-28g of sugar depending on the size and whether you order it hot or cold. To be honest 28g of sugar for a large-flavored drink at Dutch Bros is relatively low (in comparison a large peach smoothie contains 200g of sugar).
According to the Dutch Bros website, they have a sugar-free coconut syrup so you could always ask for yours with the sugar-free coconut syrup to reduce the sugar content further.
Lower Sugar Cold Brews at Dutch Bros
The cold brews at Dutch Bros are the drinks category, along with the teas, that contain the least amount of sugar. The unflavored cold brews contain 0g of sugar. A small-toasted fancy-sounding flavored one contains 24g-29g of sugar.
3. Cold Brew
A plain cold brew at Dutch Bros does not contain any sugar at 0g of sugar.
Dutch Bros’ Cold Brew is “refreshing, smooth and bold. It is less acidic than traditional coffee and packed with more caffeine“. You can enjoy one toasted or iced. You can also add a sugar-free syrup to your cold brew for some delicious flavor.
The sugar-free syrups at Dutch Bros consist of white chocolate, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, chocolate macadamia nut, hazelnut, Irish cream, coconut, raspberry, peach, and strawberry.
4. Toasted White Chocolate Mocha
Any size of the toasted white chocolate mocha contains 28g of sugar. Note that if you order it iced it will contain a bit more sugar at 33g of sugar.
This drink is made with cold brew, combined with white chocolate sauce and chocolate milk. Dutch Bros do have a sugar-free white chocolate syrup so it is worth asking to have yours made with the sugar-free syrup to reduce the sugar content. You could also ask for unflavored milk and sugar-free chocolate syrup in place of the chocolate milk.
5. Toasted Caramalizer
This drink is made from cold brew, chocolate milk, and caramel sauce (so essentially a caramel mocha).
If you order the Toasted Caramalizer “as is” it will clock in at 29g of sugar. Dutch Bros do have a sugar-free caramel syrup so definitely ask for yours to be made with this instead to reduce the sugar content. You could also ask for the chocolate milk to be replaced with a lower sugar unflavored milk and sugar-free chocolate syrup.
Lower Sugar Nitro Infused Cold Brews at Dutch Bros
6. Nitro-Infused Cold Brew
Dutch Bros nitro-infused cold brew is smooth and creamy and does not contain any sugar at 0g of sugar. You could add some flavor to yours by adding some sugar-free syrup.
Dutch Bros has sugar-free versions of white chocolate, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, chocolate macadamia nut, hazelnut, Irish cream, coconut, raspberry, peach, and strawberry.
7. Toasted Kicker Irish Cream Breve
The toasted kicker Irish cream breve contains Dutch Bros nitro cold brew with Irish cream syrup and half and half. If you order it toasted it will contain 24g of sugar. You want to make sure not to order an iced which will contain a lot more sugar at 47g of sugar.
You will also want to make sure to ask for your drink with the sugar-free Irish cream syrup instead of the full sugar version.
8. Toasted Annihilator
This fun-sounding drink is essentially a chocolate macadamia nut breve. It is made of nitro cold brew, chocolate macadamia nut syrup, and half-half.
If ordered toasted it contains 23g of sugar (the iced version contains 43g of sugar). I would recommend asking for the sugar-free chocolate macadamia nut syrup in yours to reduce the sugar content.
9. Caramelized (Toasted or Iced)
This yummy drink is essentially a caramel mocha made with caramel sauce, chocolate milk, and nitro cold brew.
Unlike the other cold brew drinks, it makes no difference if you order this one toasted or iced – they both contain 29g of sugar.
Two recommendations I have for reducing the sugar content of this drink are to:
1. Ask for sugar-free caramel syrup instead of caramel sauce, and
2. Ask for sugar-free chocolate syrup and unflavored low sugar milk instead of chocolate milk.
Small Teas at Dutch Bros
The small Teas at Dutch Bros contain 19g-23g of sugar. Some of these can be reduced further by ordering sugar-free syrup. All the teas are ordered with either green tea or Paris black tea as the base.
10. Small Double Raimbro Tea
This strawberry, peach, and coconut tea contain 21g of sugar – regardless of if you order it hot or cold.
That 21g of sugar is if you order the tea “as-is”. But as Dutch Bros has sugar-free versions of strawberry, peach, and coconut syrups, you can order it with these sugar-free syrups to drastically reduce the sugar content.
11. Small Peach Tea
Green or Paris black tea mixed with peach syrup makes this a classic refreshing tea. A small ordered “as is” contains 23g of sugar – but if you ask for it with sugar-free peach syrup that will reduce the sugar content.
12. Small Passion Fruit Tea
A small cup of this tropical tangy delight contains 19g of syrup. Dutch Bros doesn’t have a sugar-free passion fruit syrup so you can’t make a substitution with this tea.
13. Small Strawberry Tea
A small cup of Dutch Bros fruit strawberry tea also contains 19g of sugar regardless of if ordered hot or cold. Dutch Bros have a sugar-free strawberry syrup, so I would recommend ordering it with sugar-free versions to reduce the sugar content.
14. Small Tropical Tea
Passion fruit, blue raspberry, and coconut give this tropical tea all the vacation vibes. Ordered “as-is”, a small cup contains 21 g of sugar. But it is worth asking for it with the sugar-free coconut syrup to bring the sugar content down (Dutch Bros don’t have a sugar-free blue raspberry or passion fruit).
Sugar-Free Classic Drinks at Dutch Bros
The classic drinks at Dutch Bros contain 43g to 148g of sugar depending on the flavor, size, and whether it is iced, hot, or blended. But if you really want to order one without substitutions then the lowest sugar option is the Golden Eagle.
A small iced Golden Eagle contains 33g of sugar. Make sure to order iced and not blended as a small blended Golden Eagle contains a lot more sugar at 84g of sugar. As a general rule, the blended drinks at Dutch Bros contain the most sugar.
On the FAQs section of the Dutch Bros website, they say they can make all the classic drinks sugar-free. So, let’s dig in – what are the Dutch Bros Classic drinks that can be ordered with sugar-free syrup?
15. Kicker with Sugar-Free Syrup
The Kicker is essentially an Irish cream breve. Make sure to ask for it to be made with the sugar-free Irish cream syrup for a lower sugar version.
16. 911 With Sugar-Free Syrup
If you need a serious caffeine hit then the 911 contains six shots of espresso (!!), half and half and Irish cream syrup. Make sure to order with the sugar-free Irish cream syrup.
17. Annihilator with Sugar-Free Syrup
The annihilator blends strong espresso, half and half, and chocolate macadamia nut syrup. Make sure to order with sugar-free chocolate macadamia nut syrup.
18. Caramelizer with Sugar-Free Syrup
The Caramelizer is essentially a caramel mocha. Made with bold espresso, chocolate milk, caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream. To reduce the sugar content, make sure to:
- ask for it with sugar-free caramel sauce,
- ask for it with sugar-free chocolate syrup and unflavored lower sugar milk instead of chocolate milk, and
- hold the whip.
19. Cocomo with Sugar-Free Syrup
The Cocomo is a chocolatey, coconutty delight. To reduce the sugar content, make sure to:
- order with sugar-free coconut syrup, and
- ask for low sugar milk and sugar-free chocolate syrup instead of the chocolate milk.
20. Double Torture with Sugar-Free Syrup
If you need a strong caffeine hit at Dutch Bros, the double torture may be for you. Made with “espresso paired with vanilla syrup, chocolate milk and an extra double shot of espresso, plus whipped cream“. To reduce the sugar content, make sure to:
- order with the sugar-free vanilla syrup,
- hold the whipped cream, and
- order with lower sugar milk and sugar-free chocolate syrup rather than chocolate milk.
21. Golden Eagle with Sugar-Free Syrup
The Golden Eagle is made of espresso, half and half, vanilla syrup, and caramel sauce, then topped with whipped cream and a caramel sauce drizzle.
As already discussed, a small version of this contains the least amount of sugar out of all the Classics at 33g of sugar. But there are ways of reducing the sugar content further:
- order with sugar-free vanilla syrup and caramel syrup,
- ask if there is lower sugar milk you can substitute for (plant-based often contains less sugar than dairy), and
- hold the whipped cream.
It also states on the Dutch Bros website that they will happily make a specialty custom sugar-free drink. Which is incredible to know.
