If you are looking for a low sugar coconut milk “ice cream” you really cannot go wrong with So Delicious’ no sugar added coconut milk frozen dessert range. So Delicious’ no sugar added frozen desserts are sweetened with erythritol, monk fruit, and Reb-A (a stevia sweetener).
Its Mint Chip flavor has 0g of added sugar, 2g of total sugars, and 8g of alcohol sugar per serving.

2. So Delicious Vanilla No Sugar Added Coconut Milk Frozen Dessert – 2g of Total Sugar
Another flavor that So Delicious’ no added sugar coconut milk range comes in is vanilla bean. The vanilla bean flavor also contains 2g of total sugar and 0g of added sugar per serving. The alcohol sugar content per serving is 7g of alcohol sugar.

Next up is another vanilla coconut ice cream – this time from NadaMoo! Nadamoo! vanilla coconut ice cream is sweetened with agave syrup, tapioca syrup, and inulin. There are 11g of total sugar per serving and only 2g of added sugar per serving!

4. Cosmic Bliss Organic Madagascan Vanilla Bean Plant Based Frozen Dessert – 13g of Total Sugar
Another day, another vanilla coconut milk ice cream. This time it’s one from Cosmic Bliss. I love the fact that Cosmic Bliss organic Madagascan vanilla bean ice cream has such a simple ingredient list and is just sweetened with coconut syrup.

5. NadaMoo! Cookies & Cream Coconut Ice Cream – 13g of Total Sugar
I talked about Nadamoo! Vanilla coconut-based ice cream above, which contains 11g of total sugar per serving (see entry 3 above). Are all NadaMoo’s ice creams of similar sugar content? Well, they are not that far off.
Its cookies & cream ice cream contains 13g of total sugar per serving, 5g of which are added. This cookies & cream coconut ice cream is sweetened with agave syrup, cane sugar, inulin, and tapioca syrup. This explains why the vanilla variety is lower in added sugar (the vanilla flavor doesn’t contain cane sugar).
6. NadaMoo! Organic Mint Chip Coconut Ice Cream – 13g of Total Sugar
NadaMoo’s organic mint chip ice cream also contains 13g of total sugar per serving, 6g of which is added sugars. Just like the cookies & cream, this flavor is sweetened with agave syrup, cane sugar, inulin, and tapioca syrup.
7. Cosmic Bliss Organic Caramel Chocolate Plant Based Frozen Dessert – 21g of Total Sugar
I established above that Cosmic Bliss’ vanilla frozen dessert contains 13g of total sugar per serving (see entry 4 above). But what if you want a slightly more indulgent flavor without going crazy in the sugar department?
How much sugar is in Cosmic Bliss’ Caramel Chocolate ice cream?
It’s not good news I’m afraid. The caramel chocolate variety of Cosmic Bliss’ ice cream contains a fair bit more sugar at 21g of total sugar per serving, 20g of which is added sugars. This ice cream is heavy on the coconut with coconut syrup and coconut sugar being used as sweeteners.
8. So Delicious Coconut Milk Cookie Dough Frozen Dessert – 24g of Total Sugar
If you like the sound of So Delicious’ cookie dough coconut ice cream (I mean who wouldn’t) then I am afraid I have some bad news for you. So Delicious cookie dough ice cream is the highest sugar coconut ice cream on this list.
This flavor contains 24g of total sugar per serving and all 24g are added sugars. The sweeteners used are sugar and tapioca syrup.
If you want coconut milk ice cream but are watching your sugar content, make sure to stick to So Delicious No Added Sugar range and not their regular coconut milk ice creams.
My Personal Choice?
