Another day, another vanilla coconut milk ice cream. This time it’s one from Cosmic Bliss. I love the fact that Cosmic Bliss organic Madagascan vanilla bean ice cream has such a simple ingredient list and is just sweetened with coconut syrup.

5. NadaMoo! Cookies & Cream Coconut Ice Cream – 13g of Total Sugar

I talked about Nadamoo! Vanilla coconut-based ice cream above, which contains 11g of total sugar per serving (see entry 3 above). Are all NadaMoo’s ice creams of similar sugar content? Well, they are not that far off.

Its cookies & cream ice cream contains 13g of total sugar per serving, 5g of which are added. This cookies & cream coconut ice cream is sweetened with agave syrup, cane sugar, inulin, and tapioca syrup. This explains why the vanilla variety is lower in added sugar (the vanilla flavor doesn’t contain cane sugar).
