Ranking 10 Different Sorbet Brands Based on Sugar Content

In this section, I will rank 10 different brands of sorbets available from grocery stores to help you find the best low-sugar option for you. They are ranked from lowest to highest sugar content. I also highest what sweeteners are used for each type of sorbet.

1. Talenti Roman Raspberry Sorbet – 33g of Total Sugar

*Sweetened with sugar and dextrose*

First up is a Roman Raspberry Sorbet from Talenti. Now Talenti is known for its gelatos, but did you know Talenti also makes some kick-ass sorbets too.

Talenti’s Roman Raspberry Sorbet is sweetened with both sugar and dextrose and contains 33g of total sugar per serving – 30g of which are added from the sugar and dextrose. The remaining 3g of sugar will be naturally occurring from the raspberries and lemon.

Now 33g of sugar may sound high for a sorbet but this is actually on the low end (hence the fact it’s entry number 1 on this list).

2. Talenti Strawberry Margarita Sorbet – 33g of Total Sugar

*Sweetened with sugar, dextrose, and corn syrup*

Talenti’s strawberry margarita sorbet is another sorbet at the lower end of the sugar spectrum as it also contains 33g of sugar per 2/3 cup serving. This Talenti sorbet flavor is sweetened with sugar, dextrose, and corn syrup, and 32g of the total sugar content is added (1g is naturally occurring).
