To answer this question, I looked at the sugar content of 11 caramel creamers – both powdered and liquid. I looked at all the caramel varieties – caramel, salted caramel, caramel latte, vanilla caramel, and caramel macchiato. I then put together this list in descending order of sugar content to make sure to read right to the end to find out about all the best sugar-free caramel creamers.

As a general rule, there are 0g-5g of sugar in the different varieties of caramel creamer. Sugar-free caramel creamers tend to be sweetened with monk fruit, erythritol, stevia, steviol glycosides, sucralose, and/or acesulfame potassium.

1. International Delight Caramel Macchiato Liquid Coffee Creamer – 5g of Sugar

First up is the popular International Delight creamer brand. There are 5g of sugar per serving of International Delight caramel macchiato coffee creamer. That is consistent with the sugar content of the other flavors of International Delight’s creamers as I discovered posts I wrote on

2. SOWN Organic Oat Creamer Salted Caramel – 4g of Sugar

I have already talked about SOWN oat creamer in the post I wrote on the sugar content of oat creamers (How Much Sugar Is In Oat Creamers And Which Are Sugar-Free?). Well SOWN also makes a salted caramel oat creamer and this creamer contains 4g of sugar per serving.

3. Califia Farms Caramel Macchiato Almond Milk Coffee Creamer – 3g of Sugar

Califia Farms is an ever-popular plant-based milk brand. Their caramel macchiato almond creamer contains slightly less sugar per serving at 3g of sugar.

4. Elmhurst 1925 Caramel Macchiato Oat Creamer – 1g of Sugar

Next up is another oat creamer, this time from Elmhurst 1925. Elmhurst 1925 caramel oat creamer contains just 1g of sugar per serving.

5. Coffee Mate Coffee Creamer Caramel Latte – 1g of Sugar

I can’t write a post about coffee creamer without mentioning Coffee Mate right? Well, Coffee Mate’s caramel latte powdered coffee creamer contains just a mere 1g of sugar per serving.

6. Coffee Mate Sugar-Free Vanilla Caramel Creamer – 0g of Sugar

If you are a big Coffee Mate fan, then there is an even lower sugar caramelly creamer option and that is their sugar-free vanilla caramel powder creamer. Yes, it isn’t straight caramel, but it still provides those buttery caramelly notes.

Coffee Mate sugar-free vanilla caramel creamer is sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame potassium. It does also contain corn syrup solids, but this adds a ‘trivial amount of sugar’. It also contains 0g of sugar per serving.

7. International Delight Sugar-Free Caramel Macchiato Liquid Coffee Creamer – 0g of Sugar

I talked about International Delight’s regular caramel macchiato liquid creamer which contains 5g of sugar per serving (this is the norm for International Delight’s regular creamers).

However, if you are watching your sugar intake I have good news for you – International Delight also has a sugar-free version of their caramel macchiato creamer.

I have talked about Walden Farms here at Low Sugar Snax several times before and for good reason. Its creamers contain 0g of sugar per serving and are instead sweetened with erythritol and steviol glycosides.

It does, however, contain sugar and molasses but these add a ‘trivial amount of sugar’.

Another day. Another vegan sugar-free caramel creamer – this time from Nutpods.

The next entry is a slightly more unusual caramel creamer. It is from Power Creamer and it is made from grass-fed ghee with added MCT too.
