But does anybody know how much sugar is in Evolution juices, are any sugars added, and which are the lowest sugar Evolution juices? Well, I will be answering these questions in this post as I have ranked all 20 evolution Juices in descending order of total sugar content. The juices range from 2g all the way up to 40g in an 8oz serving. So, the Evolution Fresh juices you choose really do matter in terms of sugar content!
Make sure to read right to the end to find out what the lowest sugar Evolution Fresh juice is (spoiler alert – I only contains 2g of total sugar per serving!).
What are the Lowest Sugar Evolution Fresh Juices?
The lowest sugar Evolution Juices are:
- Organic Celery Glow – 2g of Total Sugar Per 8oz
- Organic Green Devotion – 4g of Total Sugar Per 8oz
- Organic Essential Greens – 6g of Total Sugar Per 8oz
None of Evolution Fresh’s juices contain added sugar apart from Organic Strawberry Lemonade which is sweetened with organic cane sugar and contains 22g of added sugar per 8oz serving.
I got the nutritional facts directly from Evolution Fresh’s website (which you can find here). Just bear in mind that 8oz is Evolution Fresh’s recommended serving size but there is actually more than 8oz in a bottle of Evolution Fresh juice.

1. Organic Carrot Citrus Radiance – 40g of Sugar
The highest sugar Evolution Fresh juice is their organic carrot citrus radiance, which contains 40g of total sugar per 8oz serving. I must be honest I was quite surprised by this as carrot-based juices are often lower sugar options. But it does contain orange and pineapple, so I guess that explains it.
2. Organic Apple – 36g of Sugar
Evolution Fresh’s organic apple juice is made from Pacific Northwest apples and contains 36g of total sugar per 8oz serving. 3. Tangerine – 30g of Sugar
Evolution Fresh also makes tangerine juice – which is a unique juice right? There are 30g of total sugar per 8oz serving of Evolution tangerine juice.
4. Organic Defense Up – 27g of Sugar
Evolution Fresh’s Organic Defense Up smoothie is made of citrus and tropical fruits. There are 27g of total sugar per 8oz serving. Tropical fruit juices usually tend to be one of the higher sugar juices under a juice brand.
5. Organic Pure Orange – 26g of Sugar
There are 26g of total sugar per 8oz serving of Evolution Fresh organic pure orange juice. This actually isn’t that high for pure orange juice. 6. Pure Orange – 26g of Sugar
There is no sugar content difference between Evolution Fresh’s organic and non-organic orange juices. Organic vs non-organic doesn’t usually result in a difference in sugar content.
7. Organic Super Fruit Greens – 26g of Sugar
One thing I have learned from all the posts I have written on juices and smoothies is that green juices are usually some of the lower-sugar juices. BUT most juice brands tend to also carry at least one green juice that contains tropical citrus fruits, and this green juice doesn’t tend to be as low in sugar content.

Evolution Fresh’s organic super fruit green juice is Evolution Fresh’s sweeter green juice as it contains oranges, mangoes, and pineapple. There are 26g of total sugar per 8oz serving.
8. Organic Strawberry Lemonade – 24g of Sugar
Next up is the only Evolution Fresh juice that currently contains added sugar. That juice is their organic strawberry lemonade. There are 24g of total sugar per 8oz serving and 22g of these are added due to the use of organic cane sugar.
9. Organic Vital Berry – 24g of Sugar
Berry-based juices and smoothies aren’t typically the lowest-sugar juices. Evolution Fresh’s Organic Vital Berry contains berries, mango, apple, and orange. It contains 24g of total sugar per 8oz serving.
10. Organic Tropical Passion – 23g of Sugar
Evolution Fresh’s Organic Tropical Passion juice contains a touch less sugar at 23g of sugar.
11. Organic Raspberry Renewal – 22g of Sugar
Evolution Fresh’s Organic Raspberry Renewal juice is made from raspberries and cucumber and there are 22g of total sugar per serving.
12. Organic Grapefruit – 20g of Sugar
Evolution Fresh’s organic grapefruit juice is just made of grapefruit and contains 20g of sugar per 8oz serving.

13. Organic Citrus Ginger Zest – 19g of Sugar
Evolution Fresh’s zesty organic citrus fiber zest juice contains 19g of total sugar per 8oz serving.
14. Mighty Watermelon – 18g of Sugar
As a general rule, watermelon doesn’t tend to be one of the highest-sugar juices out there, but it also doesn’t tend to be one of the lowest-sugar juices. That is definitely the case with Evolution Fresh’s Mighty Watermelon juice – there are 18g of sugar in an 8oz serving of Evolution Fresh’s Mighty Watermelon juice.
15. Organic Ruby Roots – 18g of Sugar
Organic Ruby Roots is one of Evolution Fresh’s more earthy root vegetable-based juices. Organic Ruby Roots contains 18g of sugar in an 8oz serving.
16. Organic Sweet Apple Greens – 12g of Sugar
The Organic Sweet Apple Greens variety is made of cucumber, leafy greens, apples, and pineapple. It is a lower-sugar Evolution Fresh juice relative to a lot of the others, coming in at 12g of sugar in an 8oz serving.
17. Organic Greens & Ginger – 8g of Sugar
Okay, now I have really got onto the exciting stuff – Evolution Fresh juices that contain less than 10g of sugar per 8oz serving. Evolution Fresh’s Organic Green & Ginger juice is one of them. This juice contains just 8g of total sugar per serving. That’s pretty good going for a juice that contains apples.
18. Organic Essential Greens – 6g of Sugar
I established above that Organic Super Fruit Greens contain 26g of total sugar per serving. Well, there are lower sugar Evolution Fresh green juices. One of them is Organic Essentials Greens, which only clocks in at 6g of sugar per 8oz serving.

19. Organic Green Devotion – 4g of Sugar
Do you know how above I said that green juice is often one of the lowest sugar juice options? Point proven – there are only 4g of sugar in Evolution Fresh’s Organic Green Devotion juice. This juice is made of leafy greens cucumber and celery.

20. Organic Celery Glow – 2g of Sugar
On the topic of celery, this brings us nicely to Evolution Fresh’s lowest sugar juice – their Organic Celery Glow Juice. This juice contains a mere 2g of sugar per 8oz serving. How awesome is that! Like most celery juices it has a twist of lemon in it.

Well, when it comes to juice from Evolution Fresh the lowest sugar options tend to be the green juice options. The lowest sugar option is the Organic Celery juice which comes in at 2g of sugar per serving. Evolution Fresh also only adds sugar to one of its drinks – the Organic Strawberry Lemonade. The other drinks are all added sugar-free.
