Well, I am very well placed to answer this question as I have already researched and written 16 articles looking at the sugar content of and best sugar-free alternatives of 16 types of candy. So, I decided to write a post summarizing some of the best sugar-free options in each candy category. Each of the candies mentioned in this post is added sugar-free – some of the candies contain some naturally occurring sugar but they are all added sugar-free. White chocolate is renowned as being the highest in sugar of all three types of chocolate. This is because white chocolate doesn’t actually contain cocoa powder – instead, it is just cocoa butter, and the remaining “white chocolate” is made up of sugar and dairy. But what about if I told you that sugar-free white chocolate does exist?

If you have ever tried orange chocolate, you will know how insanely good and addictive it is. Well, what if I told you that sugar-free dark, chocolate exists? Yes, Lily’s blood orange dark chocolate bar is sugar-free!

This taffy candy is even high in vitamin C.

32 of the All-Time Best Sugar Free Candies – The Final Bite

Wow, what a list. 32 of the all-time best sugar-free candies around. Let’s face it when it comes to avoiding candies is top of the list. Why? Well, because traditionally most candies are just sugar. A lot of sugar. However, if the above list shows anything it is that this is not always the case nowadays. You can have your candy and still have a low-sugar diet.

As for me I personally always go for Taffy (I love the stuff – especially how it gets stuck in your teeth). I also avoid licorice sweets – just not my thing. Sorry licorice fans.
